Ladue Theatre



The Ladue Horton Watkins High School theatre program has enjoyed a successful “run” of 50+ years and continues to make a significant contribution to school and community life.

Theatre experiences offer an opportunity for involvement of staff and students from the entire school. The concentrated rehearsal schedule and the total organizational structure assures self-sustaining, highly professional performances.

On this website you will find important information for both students and parents concerning this year’s season of shows and our ITS troupe.

Under the direction of Janine Burmeister, the new Ladue Performing Arts Center boasts a 700-seat theatre which includes:

  1. A 19 -line rigging system.

  2. State of the art lighting and sound systems.

  3. A spacious lobby that will accommodate patrons attending performances and can also host small group events.

  4. A Black Box theatre for alternative productions seating 200 in multiple configurations.

  5. A shop to house all construction and storage of set pieces.

  6. Fully lit make-up stations and dressing rooms.
